About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior account executive to manage our account portfolio and supervise our SDR and AE team.
For this role, strong communication skills and a customer service attitude are essential. As a Senior account executive, you should also be results-driven and help us achieve our business goals.
Ultimately, you should be able to achieve sales and profitability objectives by effectively managing new and existing accounts.
This opportunity will be leading the Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives. You will be showing them how to gain more leads and encouraging them to close more deals to continue to impact the front of the sales funnel.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading by example – showing the SDR’s and Account Executive what a good sell looks like
Developing and implementing their strategic sales plan that include expanding our customer base in specific industries
Achieving growth and exceeding sales targets by managing the junior team and also assessing their strengths and weaknesses
Creating new sales initiatives and programmes to help capture key demographics
Providing reports on how the team are doing and communicating the results clearly to the senior team
Working closely with the Senior Account Manager’s to understand their needs from their SDR’s
Training and mentoring SDR’s and Account Executives
What are we looking for?
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven track record in a Scale Up
Demonstrable experience developing a predictable Sales Machine
Ability to communicate, inspire and motivate
Proven ability to drive sales from cold to close
Excellent ability to mentor and coach junior sales teams
Great communication skills – speaking to internal stakeholders is a key function of this role
Strong CRM experience – we currently use HubSpot!
Excellent time management skills to maximise ability to reach goals
Proven sales track record – are you the best sales person you know?
