About the Role

Here at Geomiq we are looking for a talented Operations & Finance Manager to join our team as we continue to grow. Your focus will be on the “Business as Usual”, (BAU), tasks, therefore ensuring that we’re effectively working to our best. You will also be conducting our BAU finance management which will include payroll and going over invoices we receive. We are looking for someone who wants to be apart of a scale-up company and help us to become more efficient as we grow!

Key Responsibilities:

• Internal stakeholder management – you will be working with all teams here at Geomiq (including, Sales, Production, Engineering and Quoting and Management)
• Contributing to process improvements within Geomiq
• Oversee financial health of Geomiq
• Oversee cash flow, balance sheets manage expenses and produce accurate financial reports for
• Payroll & Expense processing
• Bookkeeping
• Credit control
• Supplier payments
• Support VAT and EoY returns with Third Party Accountants
• Seeking Grant funding applications and R&D tax relief

What are we looking for? 

Experience Required:

• CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountant
• Experience building and maintaining complex financial models including forecasting
• 3+ years’ experience working as either a Finance Manager or Operations Manager
• Experience working across a range of functions and disciplines
• Experience of internal controls and audits
• Stakeholder and shareholder communications

Desired Experience:

• Experience working in a start-up or scale-up organisation
• Data analysis with relevant tools
• Experience of working closely with a senior leadership team
