About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help shape how AI, automation, and data are used across our manufacturing marketplace.

You will have the opportunity to find high-value problems, test new ideas, and build solutions that can materially change how the business operates. This is a role with real scope to create, experiment, and influence what gets built, rather than simply manage an existing roadmap.

You will work across product, engineering, and operations to turn complex problems into practical systems. You will be trusted to move quickly, make decisions, and take ideas from early discovery through to working solutions and measurable results.

This role will suit someone who wants to be close to the problem, close to the technology, and close to the outcome. Someone who sees ambiguity as an opportunity to build something better.

Main responsibilities:

Product Discovery and Prioritisation

• Use SQL, Python, AI tools, and user research to uncover friction and diagnose its root cause.

• Quantify the customer, commercial, and operational impact of each opportunity.

• Develop and test clear hypotheses before committing significant resources.

• Set priorities based on evidence, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.

Technical Product Design

• Define the product experience, business logic, technical approach, and measures of success.

• Map workflows, data flows, integrations, system dependencies, and failure scenarios.

• Produce detailed product requirements that resolve ambiguity before development begins.

• Partner with engineering to make informed trade-offs between speed, complexity, reliability, and scale.

AI, Automation and Prototyping

• Architect automations that connect internal systems, databases, APIs, and AI models.

• Build functional prototypes using n8n, Python, JavaScript, APIs, and large language models.

• Develop AI-powered tools and agents that remove manual work or improve decision-making.

• Test solutions with real users, workflows, and data to prove usability, feasibility, and value.

Delivery and Product Impact

• Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, operations, commercial, and other teams.

• Resolve uncertainty, remove blockers, and make the decisions needed to maintain momentum.

• Ensure solutions are reliable, documented, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day workflows.

• Measure results, improve underperforming solutions, and scale successful capabilities across Geomiq.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years in technical product management, product engineering, automation, data products, or a related role

• Background in SaaS, marketplaces, manufacturing technology, operational technology, or complex B2B environments

• Experience identifying problems through data analysis, user research, operational workflows, and system performance

• Strong SQL and Python skills, with the ability to independently extract, analyse, and interpret data

• Hands-on experience building automations using n8n, Make, Zapier, or a comparable workflow platform

• Experience building with LLMs such as Gemini, Claude, or GPT, including APIs, structured outputs, agents, or RAG workflows

• Comfortable mapping workflows, data flows, integrations, system dependencies, technical constraints, and edge cases

• Able to turn ambiguous problems into clear product requirements, working prototypes, and measurable outcomes

• Strong communicator across engineering, product, operations, commercial, and leadership teams

• Highly resourceful, technically curious, and able to take ownership across discovery, build, implementation, and adoption
